Kindred is located approximately 20 miles southwest of Fargo and offers convenient access to both I-29 and I-94.

Parks & Recreation
Kindred offers recreational opportunities for all ages through the Kindred Park Board.
Kindred opened a new swimming pool in 2015 at the city park directly across from the elementary school. The city park also includes a picnic shelter, basketball courts, playground and the Memorial Building (available for special events and parties).
Gilbertson Park backs to Newport Ridge and is located next to the Baseball & Softball Complexes.
